Many people wanted their privacy 

Even before the revolutionary war the government passed 2 separate acts

Never been litigated before the U.S Supreme Court 

December 15th,1791 it was voted on

Military can’t be housed

Even tho the soldiers wanted somewhere to live the people wanted privacy 

No soldier shall,in time of peace be quartered in any house

The right to bear arms

 

The soldiers had to ask to go in the people’s house

Had no direct consituioutional relevance at the time

Ratified on December 15th,1791

Even until the civil war Americans still Qatar soldiers

Every soldier didn’t have a home
